This term we are learning about the human body. It is a bit hard to learn all the bones in the body and we are also learning about muscles in the body and much much more. So far the bones that I know are skull, clavical (collarbone), scapular (shoulder blade), sternum, vertabe, ribcage, ilium (pelvis), ulna, radius, humerus, fibula, tibia, feema, patella, phalanges (fingers and toes), lower jaw, coccyx (tail bone),

I think that fairy floss and dress up day was really fun.I loved the fairy floss it was really nice and I think that the grade 5's did a GREAT! job of organising this event and it was really good in the end.
I dressed up as a 50's dancer with a white top,yellow skirt and a ribbon around me neck,I also had my hair up in a side ponytail.I think that Yaliny had the best costume and it was really cool also I think that Veronica put alot of effort into her costume.
Over all it was a great day and I really enjoyed it.

well I think it was a massive success and a good preparation for the grade 5's on what is ahead meaning organising things, making big decisions, as well as presenting an active leader ship role in the school, pity ms Powell wont be here to see the grade 5's reciving there badges and leadership roles.
well my costume was one of my favroute soccer players whos name is Frank Lampard and he is the captain of a team called chelsea, chelsea plays in the barcleys premier legue in England and I wore there home jersey which happens to be black.
My favroute dressed up character would probably have been Kana and her really weird but still cool costume, at the same time I wish there was a most random costume award, where Kana would have won for sure.Next time at a fancey dress day if there is a another fancey dress day I don't know what I would dress up as but the next time probably somthing random like what Kana dressed up as but hopefully it is a bit more random.

And that concludes my note about the fancy dress day and fairy floss day and if we did have another one then I would like to help my little sis with her costume.

I thought that the costumes were great, there were so many costumes surrounding me that where really creative. If I could do it again I would dress up as something more creative, my favourite costume was Veronica's, she was Captain Jack Sparo, it was so cool.

The fairy floss was so delicious and so fluffy, I got a big one and got it all over me, it was so sticky.

Fairy Floss day was great! Everyone dressed up in such cool and magnificent costumes. I dressed up as a nerd. I'm not really sure why, but it was easy and I didn't really have a costume for anything else. We had a class vote, and Liana had won. Her costume was really nice and it was funny. The nose, the glasses, the wig, the hat and the BIG green glasses she wore looked really effective and funny.

Out of the whole school, I think Yalini had the best costume. She had this really nice Egyptian dress and nice beads in her hair, she also had this thing around her shoulders that looked really nice.

The grade 5s were very creative in organising such a day. The fairy floss was tasty but rather 'sugary'. It was actually quite cool watching the fairy floss being spun. It's like you put sugar in it then all this flossy stuff comes and it's really cool. Joyce was complaining about her fairy floss when she looked at Alisha and Vicky's fairy floss. She complained that the fairy floss she got was small compared to their's. I must admit that Alisha's fairy floss was massive though.

Next time I would dress up as a... I'm not sure. Maybe a begger. A begger because when I wake up in the morning, my hair is really messy like a huge spider web.

Fairy Floss & Fancy Dress Day was AWESOME!!! I dressed up as Tinkerbell. Mum and I made the skirt, the wings and put little balls of fabric on the end of the shoes to make it look more like her outfit!

My favourite costumes were Yalini's - Egyptian/Cleopatra because it looked like she put a LOT of effort into her costume (and I got to try on the gold thing (I think its a necklace?) so that was cool but it was hard to put on!!!) and Sian - Minnie Mouse! She looked SO cute. GO SIAN!

Next time, I might go as...Ummm...Still Deciding!!!

Now, the fairy floss. YUM! It was so sweet. I loved it!!!

Anyway, It was a really fun day and it would be cool if we could have another one again!!!

I was really looking forward to the fancy dress and fairy floss day but I missed out because I was sick AGAIN! I had already paid for the fairy floss and organised my costume. I was going to go as a surfer, in a wetsuit with a surfboard and zinc on my nose but when I woke up and couldn't stop coughing my mum wouldn't let me go. It sounds like the grade 5's did a great job organising the day and everyone had lots of fun. Except ME!
