It was even more special because only 2 people that I know of, did not dress up and they were not in our class.

\nMy costume was a pixie. I wore a purple dress with stars that my mum made just for the dress up day. In our class Liana won fist prize but I'm not sure about 2nd or 3rd prize. Liana came as a clown.

\nVeronica had a brilliant costume. She dressed up as a pirate, it was jack sparrow from pirates of the carribine. She would be first over all if I had a say. I was meant to be giving out 2nd prize but nobody got round to asking me what I thought. Any way veronica was not 1st in her class. 2nd and 3rd should have also had a chance to win a prize over all. The reason why I like her costume was she really did look like a pirate. You would not even be able to recognise her.

\nNext time I would dress up as a tree. I had a calisthenics costume I wore yesterday, at stud park. It was too hot to were it on the dress up day for school. It was also too hot yesterday but I had to. I will tell you about yesterday later.

I dressed up as the Greek goddess Venus, I don't really know why. I just randomly choose Venus. To be truthful I didn't really try hard with my costume and I left it to the last minute.
\nMy favourite costume would have to be Veronica's Captain Jack Sparrow. If she had black hair and darker skin, Veronica would look a lot like Captain Jack Sparrow. She even had a compass that never faced north (It didn't face in any direction).

\nNext time we have it I would definitely give my costume more thought. I would probably choose to dress up as a hip hop superstar.

\nIf I had another chance to dress up as something I would dress up as.................... SANTA!!!!!!! Because everyone loves santa and if we have a vote on who has the best dress they will most likely vote for ME!!!!!! Because I'm the best of course. Go me go me gooooooooooo me!!!

\nOk continuing on. I would just like to say thank you to Miss.Powell and Mrs.Huntly for the fairy floss. IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Over all fairy floss and fancy dress up day was a fabulous day. \nI have two favourite costumes that I liked, the first one being Yalini's costume because it looked like she had put alo of time and effort into her costume and it looked great. yalini's costume was the... BOMB!!! My other favourite was Mrs. Marrales' costume as Kenny becauses she had the overalls and the blue top and just for good mesure she even put a pillow in her shirt so that she had the belly, it was really awesome.

\nIf I could change my costume and do it again, I would go as......... Well I might go as Kenny, like what Mrs. Marrales did.

\nOverall I think that the day was absolutly outstanding and Miss. Everyone dressed up in such cool and magnificent costumes. I dressed up as a nerd. I'm not really sure why, but it was easy and I didn't really have a costume for anything else. We had a class vote, and Liana had won. Her costume was really nice and it was funny. The nose, the glasses, the wig, the hat and the BIG green glasses she wore looked really effective and funny.

\nOut of the whole school, I think Yalini had the best costume. She had this really nice Egyptian dress and nice beads in her hair, she also had this thing around her shoulders that looked really nice.

\nThe grade 5s were very creative in organising such a day. The fairy floss was tasty but rather 'sugary'. It was actually quite cool watching the fairy floss being spun. It's like you put sugar in it then all this flossy stuff comes and it's really cool. Joyce was complaining about her fairy floss when she looked at Alisha and Vicky's fairy floss. She complained that the fairy floss she got was small compared to their's. I must admit that Alisha's fairy floss was massive though.

\nNext time I would dress up as a... I'm not sure. Maybe a begger. A begger because when I wake up in the morning, my hair is really messy like a huge spider web.

\nwell my costume was one of my favroute soccer players whos name is Frank Lampard and he is the captain of a team called chelsea, chelsea plays in the barcleys premier legue in England and I wore there home jersey which happens to be black.
\nMy favroute dressed up character would probably have been Kana and her really weird but still cool costume, at the same time I wish there was a most random costume award, where Kana would have won for sure.Next time at a fancey dress day if there is a another fancey dress day I don't know what I would dress up as but the next time probably somthing random like what Kana dressed up as but hopefully it is a bit more random.

I understand the reason that it's us here that wants him to come here but wouldn't he get a BETTER if he paid for himself? He's got like bags and cupboards and stacks and a whole ocean of money. To him, 3.3 million dollars if probably five cents to us( well if he was that rich..). What I'm trying to say is, can't he pay for himself? He has so much money anyway and he can use some of this money to inspire people. It's also good for him to pay because it would stop the people from complaining about the money. It's worths him paying for himself because there is also benefits like, HAVING A CHANCE TO SHOW OFF!!!

\nSecondly, apart from all the money issues, it would be good for him to come here. It's a rare chance for those people who are a huge fan of him and want to meet him. As I said before, it's may be once in a life time or once in a billion years! He'll inspire lots of people with his golfing skills.

Humans have other qualities such as kindness, patience, flexability, endurance or compassion and many others. We don't slot these into male or female qualities so why should we with strength and intelligence? So girls have to be smart but weak and boys have to be strong but dumb??? Thats just not right.

The Giant Swing, Canoeing and the Camp fires we had all together.

\nEven though I have been on it many times before, the Giant swing was still as good as ever and every time I go on one it feels like the first. I love the feeling of your stomach being dropped straight after you pull the cord and the excitement of it all is too hard to explain. When you go through the air at such a high speed your mind has to take a second to work out what has happened. The wind in your face is so refreshing and I feel so relaxed just swinging back and forth (except for the gigantic wedgie).
\n
\nCanoeing was so much fun and it was my first time as well so it was even more enjoyable. My partner was Jorja and we had a great time paddling around the dam. Some of the games we played were gang up tiggy and a game where everyone had to hang onto each other's canoes while each person in our group had to walk across each canoe and back. We all had a lot of laughs in the game because we nearly had quite a few people fall in and Miss Powell was very clear that you had to step EXACTLY in the middle of the canoe so she wouldn't fall in. Jorja and I made the mistake of leaving the canoe with nobody in it, which resulted in us both having to trudge into the water and swim to our canoe where we nearly capsized it trying to get in. We ended up with mud in our shoes, nearly freezing to death, our canoe half filled up with dirty water and a smile on each of our faces!
\n
\nMy third favourite thing about camp was the two Camp fires we had. It was nice to all be gathered around the Camp fire laughing and joking. Everyone was talking with each other and having fun while we were playing the games. But one of the things I didn't like about the Camp fires was the riddles. I was so frustrated at times but at others I seemed to understand them in a way. I was very suprised when I actually figured out one of the riddles and I was very proud of myself because I new that was probably a one off. Otherwise I had a great time around the Camp fire.

\nSo there are my favourite things about Camp and I would have to say that the Forest Logde Camp I have just been on was the best school camp I have ever been on so far!

In camp, we did canoeing, Giant Swing, Flying Fox, Archery, Ropes Course, Hut building, Walking through a strange path at night(we were walking towards a camp fire when it the destination was just behind the Lodge!), Visiting Wilson's Promontory, walking along Squeaky beach and playing at a beach near Tidal River. We did so much fun activities but the two things I liked the best was...

\nThe first thing that I really enjoyed was playing in the beach near Tidal River. I liked going there because of the wet and soggy sand that were feet 'sinkable'. While we were walking along that beach, Linda walked over soggy sand and the next minute when I turned around, she had her feet sunk in the wet sand. It looked like she had no feet so I decided to try it. She told me to take steps on the spot so thats what I did. After a few steps, I found my feet sunk into the sand. Now there was two people who had no feet.
\n
\nSoon Joyce, Xiu-Lin, Vicky and Mary came along and saw Linda and I so they did the same thing as well. Sinking our feet in sand was fun and kept our feet warm from the freezing, cold water. It was actually really fun sinking our feet in wet sand and it was always funny at the same time. After a long while had passed, we saw other people with no feet as well so we just burst out laughing. Time was passing really slowly and we got a bit bored of it. I was the first one who TRIED to jump out but I couldn't. The sand felt too sticky and I found it hard. Some struggling and kicking was required but the bad thing was when I got out, I fell straight on my bottom. BAD THING! PANTS WERE WET!
\n
\nAnother thing fun about going to the beach was running across the water. As I ran, water was splashing out of my steps and so I splashed everyone behind and around me. I wasn't that creative so I was thinking of what else we could do to have fun, I didn't know so I just decided to go and sink my feet in wet sand again. This time my friends and I sunk our feet in another place. It was a small Island on the beach across the really shallow water. We just stood there and laughed at our feetless legs! Soon many people came and sunk their feet in the sand as well on the Island. I guess there were about fifteen people all with a pair of feet missing. I called the group of people the 'Feetless Gang'. Going to the beach was great fun apart from the wet pants and 'sand storms'.

\nThe second thing I enjoyed was when everyone was in their sleeping bags watching a hilarious movie. The movie was called 'The Benchwarmers'. I really liked watching a movie and snuggling in warm sleeping bags at the same time. In some parts of the movie, I was just sleeping. The BAD thing about it was when I wanted to watch the movie, the person in front of me kept blocking my view!

\nGoing to Forest Lodge Farm was great fun and I enjoyed all of it. I hope I can go there again some day...

Sqeaky Beach was so nice and beautiful. The walk to Tidal River was amazing, all of the plant life around me was absolutly unbeleiveable. The walk was awesome to go on with the fresh breeze, it was fantastic. Tidal River was so much fun. Kana and I ran through the water that was absolutly frezing cold but soo much fun. I think that most people were enjoying sinking into the sand while the others were playing beach cricket. Kana and I tried to have a competition of who could stay in the water the longest but it didn't work very well. The water at Tidal River was weirdly coloured and at first I thought that the water was really dirty but then Chantal explained to me that the colouring was just from all of the rocks and leaves that had fallen into the water. After a while I was really starting to like thae water, it was a beautiful colour that was like a reddy sort of orange colour, it was really nice. \nI say diabetes because people could get over weight and obesity because the children will eat too much junk and I\u2019ll say this straight out they\u2019ll get FAT no mother would like to have obese children.

It's you that should know the food is not healthy and you always get tempeted in junkfood. If the canteen doesn't sell it, you'll probably bring heaps of your own choice at school which is even worse.

\nIf there was only just healthy food, who would come to the canteen as often as when there was junkfood. The canteen runners are just trying to make a living so give them a chance! If everyone is so scared about the problems with weight than don't buy the junkfood.

\nThe money the children use to buy the food in the canteen can also be their hard earned pocket money so they can just have a treat. It's the children's money so they can choose how they want to spend it.

\nAltogether I think having junkfood in the canteen is not such a bad idea.

Or make a model of the water cycle or something to do with water so that everyone knows how the water cycle works or do a whole senior school (huge) model of the water cycle, so everyone brings something different in and we would put it all together.

The activities on the sheet are okay, but they are sometimes quite predictable, so you basically know what some of the activities are, even though you haven't got the sheet.
\nI think we could change it to three compulsory tasks and three optional tasks, so there would be a wider range to choose from. Also, there would be more of a variety of homework when it is presented.
\nPerhaps for a homework task we could write a story about a raindrop or something similiar. The title of the story could be something along the lines of "A Raindrop's Day".

I think it is reasonable to have four compulsory and two choice because there are tasks that should be done for homework anyway. I like that every week there is different tasks on the grid so that we aren't just doing the same old thing, but are doing tasks that involve using our hands to cook or using our voice to make a speech. The time limit is very handy considering that some tasks can take a few days to be properly finished.

As Mrs.Sharp said cooking and exercising. We do have lots more different options and compolsorys.

\nWhat Miss.Powell and Mrs.Sharp could do is you could have the homework grid and to make it a bit easier you could have the sheets stappled.For eg with this weeks homework.
\n*you could have the maths sheet stappled on each other
\n*you could staple the exercise as what Mrs.Sharp did
\n*and you could also have our things when we have to write 2 or 3 paragraph staple that as well.

\nOn Mother's day as my sisters and brother went in to mum's room and said "HAPPY MOTHERS DAY" in the best and loud voice as mum had a huge fright.After a few hours went past, we had pancackes they were like as tastyer than a rosted chicken that has just have been cooked.So we ate the pancakes,after that we gave mum here pressents. She got..........cards,jars,pens,flowers,and lots more but her favourite one was the golf set.It was purple and she got about twelve clubs all together.She was so happy as someone winning a gold meadle at the Olympics.She was so proude of our selves.In the afternoon we went to a restrant. It was so delishious!!! After we came back home we actuly did nothing. It was as boring as being sick and staying at home like an dead fish.When it was getting a bit dark,we had a desert. \nCHOCOLATE ICE-CREAM. Wow that was creamy and a bit crunchy.Because we had a cone!!!!! After it had passed nine we had gone to sleep because it was a very long day and we could not forget what had happerned.So we went to bed and that was the best day EVER!!!!!!!
